Organization Mergers

Charles was the professional consultant who headed the successful merger of three Chambers of Commerce in suburban Nashville, Tennessee in 2012…the new Williamson County Chamber of Commerce is the result of merging the Brentwood, Franklin, and Cool Springs Chambers of Commerce together.

Crisis Planning / Business Continuity Planning

To prepare Companies, Organizations, and others to secure and enhance their reputation through a potential crisis management experience. This is achieved by implementing a successful “Continuity Planning” effort, to prevent undesired outcomes from unexpected occurrences.

Charles led the private sector response to the Oklahoma City bombing, to minimize the disruption of payrolls and help businesses get back in operation through the application of grants, business loans, and
contributions from local and national sources.

Crisis can occur from natural and man-made disasters, from product/service errors, from union organizing attempts, etc. The key is to have prepared for crisis management so that the response actually follows a planned course of action and to successfully navigate through the troubled period.

Union Fee

Companies need to be focused on building a community goodwill strategy, as part of an external plan, in addition to an internal plan, aimed at remaining union free, in order to protect their corporate reputation, while providing employees with an inspiring work environment.

Special CEO Assistance

This can be fulfilled as a temporary Special Projects Manager for CEOs, who need to accomplish this or other special project needs they might have and wish to be assigned to an outside party. Also, Executive Coaching and Mentoring.

Interim CEO Service

To provide temporary assistance to Companies, Organizations, and others as an Interim CEO…including an Internal Operation Review, support for the search for a new CEO, and leadership transition support to the new administration.

Charles Van Rysselberge is well suited for these assignments having served as a CEO five times over a 40 year chamber of commerce management career…winning national recognition in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Charleston, South Carolina, for quality management, revenue generation and return on investment!

During those years, Van Rysselberge had to develop strategies to respond to a Garbage Workers Strike in the seventies in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the Oil Bust of the eighties in Shreveport, Louisiana and the Federal Building Bombing and the F-5 Tornado of the nineties in Oklahoma City.
